Summary

As a Marketing Apprentice, you’ll gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of digital marketing while studying towards a recognised qualification. This role is perfect for someone enthusiastic, curious, and ready to learn in a fast-paced environment. You’ll receive a structured apprenticeship programme with full training provided.

£14,722.50 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

  • Writing copy for websites, press releases and other marketing activities
  • Managing customer data in HubSpot and sending email campaigns
  • Managing email builds and sends, as well as management of customer data and email automation flows via various platforms. (E.g. MailChimp, Yotpo)
  • Development of required email content for campaigns - working with copywriters, design, and development teams where necessary
  • Development of client social media strategy, content scheduling, captionwriting, and development of brand presence on social media platforms
  • Including (but not limited to): Instagram, Facebook, TikTok
  • Development of influencer marketing strategy, outreach, and influencer management
  • Developing PR outreach strategies, competitor analysis, delivery of outreach, and campaign reporting
  • Help to coordinate Ascensor marketing activity

Including:

  • Development of social media content calendars, post scheduling, content reviews
  • Liaising with clients that you are responsible for Providing research and analysis to support the sales process
  • Providing recommendations to clients (internal and external) to implement best practice for setting up website content in an SEO friendly manner
  • Effectively build internal relationships and support with the management of workflow and deliverables
  • Keep track of projects and ensure we hit our deadlines
  • Review and report on campaign performance with exceptional attention to detail
  • Think from a client perspective and make sure that our deliverables meet and exceed their expectations

What you'll learn

Course contents
  • Develop or interpret briefs for external or internal stakeholders and measure delivery in-line with the specification and agreed timelines
  • Plan and coordinate a marketing activity using marketing tactics to acquire and retain one or more customer segments using available resources.
  • Contribute to the generation of innovative and creative approaches across video, images, and other formats, both online and offline, to support campaign development.
  • Use research/survey software to gather audience insight and/or evaluation to support the project.
  • Use copywriting techniques to write persuasive text/copy to meet a communications objective ensuring it is in-line with organisational brand guidelines.
  • Build and implement multi-channel campaigns across a variety of platforms, either offline or digital media.
  • Proofread marketing copy ensuring it is accurate, persuasive and is on brand.
  • Use software to design and create marketing assets to meet the technical specification.
  • Contribute to the research of external suppliers to support recommendations and procurement of marketing goods and services.
  • Organise offline and digital assets ensuring they are co-ordinated and legally compliant.
  • Use a website content management system to publish text, images, and video/animated content.
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets to support marketing activities such as project/budget planning and organisation of marketing assets.
  • Use technology and software packages to support day to day activities, e.g., stakeholder communications, development of briefs, data analysis, report writing, presentations and project management.
  • Identify and use data and technologies to achieve marketing objectives.
  • Monitor and amend campaigns to meet budget requirements including time and monetary costs.
  • Review campaigns regularly to ensure effectiveness, to optimise the results.
  • Measure and evaluate campaign delivery to identify areas for improvement.
  • Use data analysis tools to record, interpret and analyse customer or campaign data.

  • Strategically plan, execute, and manage comprehensive marketing campaigns across an array of digital and traditional media platforms
  • Develop, understand, and apply marketing briefs and plans to ensure alignment with business objectives and brand consistency

Requirements

Essential qualifications

GCSE in:

5 GCSE's including English Language and Maths (grade (A*-C/9-4 or equivalent))
