Summary

You will be working for a reputable company as a Lean Manufacturing Operative Apprentice that produces a large range of lighting solutions. Learning the use of materials and machinery equipment. Assembling to complete the finished product. Preparing products for dispatch.

Wage

£14,918.80 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

  • Working alongside a mentor
  • Using machinery 
  • Following manufacturing processes
  • Accurately assemble components to ensure they meet company standards and report defects or discrepancies to the supervisor
  • Operate and maintain assembly line machinery, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Will learn how to read and understand blueprints, assembly instructions and schematics
  • General workshop maintenance
