Summary

You'll support our team with modelling, forecasting, and analysis as we grow and refine our operations. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain practical experience in financial structuring and modelling, particularly in the context of litigation funding and insurance-related financial products.

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

  • Assist in building and refining financial models for business planning and investment analysis
  • Support scenario analysis and sensitivity testing across SPV and business unit performance
  • Help prepare monthly reports, financial forecasts and rolling budgets
  • Conduct market and benchmark research to support financial assumptions
  • Work in Excel and, where appropriate, tools such as Google Sheets, Power BI or Python for finance
  • Collaborate with legal and operations teams to understand cost drivers and funding models
  • Document models with clear assumptions and methodologies

Tools and technologies learned:

Learners will learn to use visualisation tools such as (PowerBI, Tableau), SQL Server, SSIS, Python and R programming languages, and Cloud Technologies such as: Azure, AWS, GCP.

Essential qualifications

GCSE in:

5 including Maths & English (grade 4 (C) or above)

Desirable qualifications

A Level in:

Relevant subject (grade Any)

BTEC in:

Relevant subject (grade Any)

Other in:

Relevant subject (grade Level 3)
