Summary
Hill Green Farm Livery are a livery yard, who also have breeding and dressage horses, and are looking for an apprentice to join their team. The apprenticeship will allow you to work with top level dressage horses, breeding stock and a number of lovely liveries, as well as giving you the platform to develop your skills and launch your career.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
This position is a non-ridden or ridden postion dependant on your riding level and daily tasks will include general yard and grooming duties such as:
- Turning out
- Bringing in
- Rug changes
- Grooming
- Tacking up
- Lunging
- Mucking out

Equine Groom Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard:
- All training will be provided on site during your paid working hours
- Your day to day mentoring will be with your employer, and a combination of online and in person monthly sessions will be held with your Haddon Training Trainer Coach

Other requirements
Prior basic experience is essential along with a great attitude. The employer are situated in a small village with limited public transport route (bus)so the ability to drive or have a method of commuting is vital. To apply for this role you must be a UK resident or have lived in the EU for 3 years. Unfortunately, there is no accommodation or livery for own horse on site.
