Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
- General ad-hoc admin duties – Composing letters, answering the main switchboard line, printing, scanning, CRM maintenance.
- Pricing analysis - You will get to grips with our software through comprehensive training and will process incoming price requests from sales agents on our pricing tool. This will involve inputting data such as supply numbers and contract end dates, to pull together a price comparison of our partnered energy suppliers.
- You will request formal bespoke quotations from energy suppliers through email, via the templates provided to you. Gaining increasing knowledge on the energy market rises and falls through analysis of pricing data, and be able to use your initiative to eliminate ineligible suppliers from quoting specific customers due to credit check criteria, business SIC codes, etc.
- Contract generation - You will be trained on each individual supplier portal, to successfully generate contracts to send out to clients via DocuSign. You will input relevant data to correctly generate the requested contract rates and length for customers, meticulously crosschecking against sales agents’ requests to ensure accuracy.
- Contract Maintenance - You will monitor contract records on our internal system that are coming to an end, and either generate renewal price requests for sales agents, or direct the records into the correct statuses.
