Summary

As our new IT Coordinator, reporting to the IT Service Manager, you'll own all IT administrative tasks. You'll be key in organising, supporting, and coordinating projects for the IT team and the wider business. You'll consistently demonstrate outstanding customer service, professionalism, and a firm grasp of service management principles.

What you'll do at work

In this role, you'll be instrumental in ensuring our IT operations run smoothly across the entire Azzurri Group. Your responsibilities will include:

  • New Site IT Management: Oversee all IT aspects of new restaurant openings and existing site transformations, ensuring seamless technology integration, whilst heavily supporting our engineering team on site.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding: Manage IT provisions for new hires and leavers, from account setup to equipment retrieval.
  • IT Procurement & Project Coordination: Play a key role in IT procurement processes and coordinate various IT projects, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
  • Essential IT Support: Provide crucial IT support to both our head office and restaurant teams, troubleshooting issues and offering solutions that keep our operations running efficiently.
  • Travel: This position requires travel for new restaurant openings and transformations.

  • Test and evaluate the system's performance and compliance with customer requirements.
  • Escalate non routine problems in line with procedures
  • Use basic scripting to execute the relevant tasks for example PowerShell, Linux
  • Carry out routine maintenance across systems, (such as IT, Communications), ensuring organisational compliance at all times
  • Apply the necessary security, in line with access and/or encryption requirements
  • Use a range of Cabling or Connectors equipment in line with technical requirements for example physically or remotely
  • Test and evaluate network environments
  • Monitor performance and usage of a network
  • Deploy applications on a network
  • Set up storage and data access for staff
  • Apply necessary security measures, in line with access requirements to a network
  • Carry out routine maintenance across network systems, ensuring organisational compliance
  • Monitor network-related workloads including DNS and firewalls
  • Install or undertake basic upgrades, either physically or remotely
  • Establish digital communication or telecommunications systems through, for example cabling and connecting equipment.
  • Identify a range of tools and or diagnostic equipment, for example, Hardware or Software components, to resolve Communications or Telecommunications requirements.
  • Undertake basic telecommunications activities, in response to an allocated task, designated responsibilities, instructions or customer’s requirements.

Your training plan

  • The apprenticeship will be run in conjunction with a recognised IT training provider who will support both your technical and personal development needs
  • You will achieve the Level 3 Infrastructure Technician Apprenticeship
  • Functional Skills in English and maths if required
  • Training is delivered online by Estio
