Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

You will produce jobs and training bulletins that can be shared with our client group and partners, highlighting the range of fantastic opportunities available for the young people of Manchester.

You will support our team in the work that we do across the city and work closely with colleagues in partner organisations to help improve outcomes for young people. This will involve monitoring our service inbox, answering phone calls to the office, triaging referrals into the service and working closely with service leads to ensure that support is provided to NEET young people in the city.

This also will involve direct contact with young people, their parents/carers, and a range of professionals from support services, training providers and employers across the city, so excellent communication skills are essential, as is the ability to travel independently.

Completion of a Level 3 Business Administration qualification will be expected, and you will be supported to achieve this as part of your role and given time to complete assignments.
