We are looking for a Teaching Assistant Apprentice to join the team to develop their career in a growing school.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
Our aim is to inspire and encourage a passion for lifelong learning in our children, sparking curiosity, promoting creativity and nurturing developing passions to ensure that our children grow and thrive on their journey through school. Our curriculum places huge importance on reading and a love of books. It also promotes the ‘big ideas’ of diversity, society and exploration.
We value kindness, resilience and tolerance and expect our children and staff to demonstrate these values daily. We also believe in the importance of courage when trying new things, collaboration and teamwork to achieve things together and the importance of always being respectful to one another.
Duties will include:
- To participate in the delivery of local and national learning strategies
- To make a contribution to the planning and preparation of learning activities for students identified as needing alternative school provision
- To provide the relevant teacher(s) with appropriate feedback and reports on student achievement, progress and development.
- To promote the inclusion and acceptance of all students within the classroom. This will include providing specific support to students and contributing to the implementation and review of Individual Plans
- To use ICT effectively to support learning activities and to develop students’ competence and independence in its use.
- To participate, where required in the organisation or provision of supervisory arrangements for students during break times and on out-of-school activities
- To comply with, promote and contribute to the review of whole school policies and procedures including those relating to child protection, behaviour management and health and safety

Essential qualifications
GCSE or equivalent in:
