21,000.oo Starting Salary. After 6 months increasing to £23,000 and after 12 months to £25,000 if performance targets are reached.

Key responsibilities of the Warehouse Administrator Apprentice:
Planning & Scheduling:
- Support daily warehouse scheduling, ensuring efficient flow of goods and alignment with operational priorities
- Assist in allocating resources and space based on incoming and outgoing volumes
Inbound & Outbound Documentation:
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of shipping and receiving paperwork
Prepare documentation required for customs clearance, internal systems, and customer visibility - Maintain a clear audit trail of all documents
Freight Coordination & Tracking:
- Track incoming containers and liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery
- Support escalation processes for delayed shipments or discrepancies
Systems & Data Entry:
- Accurately input and update shipment and inventory data into warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Assist the Customer Service and Yard Operations teams by ensuring timely and accurate data availability
Stock & Inventory Control:
Support regular stock counts, cycle checks, and variance investigations
Assist with reporting stock discrepancies and recommending corrective actions
Health & Safety Awareness:
- Understand and adhere to warehouse safety procedures and site rules
- Assist with maintaining a clean, organised, and compliant workspace
Continuous Improvement:
- Participate in team huddles and process reviews to identify improvement opportunities
- Support Lean or 5S initiatives where applicable
Stakeholder Communication:
- Liaise professionally with internal teams (warehouse operatives, transport, customer service) and external partners (carriers, suppliers)
- Support customer-focused problem solving and resolution

- Lead and participate in problem solving activities: 5 whys, fishbone analysis.
- Use capacity planning to inform fast-moving consumer goods supply chain processes.
- Apply team working principles.
- Escalate issues and tasks.
- Analyse data against supply chain key performance indicators to identify trends and themes that affect the fast-moving consumer goods supply chain.
- Plan and adhere to customer lead times.
- Use data analysis outcomes to inform decision making in the supply chain function.
- Develop and implement a supply plan, for example, supply planning, production planning, demand planning, operations planning - logistics, commercial planning.
- Use order management tools to capture customer orders.
- Communicate with others verbally for example, colleagues and stakeholders.
- Communicate in writing with others for example, internal and external customers, colleagues, and managers.
- Comply with health and safety legislation, regulations, standards, and guidance.
- Follow equity, diversity, and inclusion principles.
- Apply quality assurance procedures.
- Identify and document hazards and risks in the workplace. Apply control measures.
- Record or enter information - paper based or electronic; risk assessments, handover documents, work sheets, checklists, and any legal reporting requirements.
- Comply with sustainability principles and regulations including efficient use of resources, recycling, reuse and safe disposal of waste.
- Identify, organise and use resources, including team members, to plan and complete tasks, with consideration for cost and quality.

Your training plan
Level 3 Supply Chain Practitioner Apprenticeship Standard qualification, which includes:
- Level 1/2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
- End-Point Assessment (EPA)
This apprenticeship will be delivered in the workplace. You will have a dedicated assessor who will provide guidance and monitor progress throughout. You will have access to an online portfolio to allow you to monitor your progress and log work completed.

Essential qualifications
GCSE or equivalent in:
