About this employer
Viridor Energy is a UK leader in energy recovery, playing a vital role in supporting the country’s ambition to reduce waste and tackle climate change. Our Energy Recovery Facilities (ERFs) are critical to ensuring that, after reducing, reusing, and recycling as much as possible, any remaining residual waste is managed in the most efficient and effective way. Instead of sending this waste to landfill, our ERFs recover valuable energy, generating low-carbon electricity and helping to make landfill the last resort. Through our work, we support the transition to a more sustainable and circular economy, delivering practical solutions that benefit both the environment and future generations.
