Summary

Brookvale Manufacturing are seeking to recruit an apprentice to join their experienced Engineering team. The role offers hands-on experience across the entire shop floor, with time spent in the tool room, production, and quality departments.

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

Daily tasks include:

  • Hand bench work 
  • Milling
  • Lathe work
  • Grinding operations
  • Production duties such as tool setting
  • Tooling movement using pedestrian pump trucks 
  • Use of measurement equipment 
  • Calibration

Your training plan

This is a 15-month Level 2 Engineering Operative Apprenticeship. For the first 12 months of your apprenticeship, you will be required to attend In-Comm Training 12 Vigo Pl, Aldridge, Walsall WS9 8UG 1 day per week.

GCSE in:

English and Maths (grade 9-4 minimum)
