Summary
A Construction Site Supervisor is responsible for managing and overseeing the activities and personnel on a construction site, ensuring that the project is running correctly to schedule and safely. The Apprenticeship gives candidates the background knowledge in construction practices and technologies they need to effectively run a construction site.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
- Understand the Contract and the Company’s obligations and ensure all requirements are met
- Implement and ensure compliance with the Company Health, Safety and Welfare Policy and Employment Legislations
- Preparation of programmes of work and management of operational delivery within agreed budgets, objectives and targets
- Develop excellent relationships with Client Representatives, Residents and all Stakeholders
- Ensure all client enquiries, issues and requests are actioned and resolved within appropriate timescales
- Complete all E-learning, and H&S training requirements in line with your role
- Report any accidents, incidents, near misses
- Assist with the day to day tasks involved within the various support functions to include assisting the Scheduling Team, CPM and APM’s where necessary

What you'll learn
Course contents
- Identify risk of activities and encourage all employees to demonstrate safety-conscious behaviours.
- Assess, identify and record the environmental impact of projects.
- Assist in the implementation of the most appropriate solutions for construction projects.
- Use effective management principles and be able to supervise construction workers.
- Understand overall plan for project and measure and record progress against plan.
- Assess and report on quality standards and assist in commissioning of finished construction projects.
- Understand financial and legal constraints and measure and record progress against budget.
Your training plan
- The apprentice will recieve the Level 4 Construction Site Supervision qualification
- The apprentice will be required to attend workshops either virtual or on college campus over the period of their apprenticeship and develop the knowledge required to support their end point assessment
- The apprentice will also be required to complete college assessments on site as well as completing written work alongside

Essential qualifications
GCSE or equivalent in:
Maths and English (grade 4-9)Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have. They can adjust the apprenticeship to reflect what you already know.
