Summary
We offer applicants the opportunity to join our small vibrant team, working with dogs and cats in a lively and friendly environment. We will train and support you to develop a full range of knowledge and skills in all aspects of kennel and cattery work.

£15,704 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

- Contributing to daily exercise routines
- Contributing to daily cleaning routines
- Contributing to daily feeding routines
- Maintaining the welfare of a range of dogs and cats

Your training plan
- The training will take place across a five-day working week
- As part of this, we will also pay you to study for up to one day a week
- All the training will take place at our kennels and cattery in Stour Row, near Shaftesbury Dorset
- You will be working towards a Level 2 Apprenticeship in Animal Care

Other requirements
The role involves working outside and is fairly physical. We are located approximately 2 miles from Shaftesbury. However, there are no bus services, so you will need to have access to transport to get you to and from work.
