What you will do in your working day
- Establish a safe and stimulating environment for pupils, rooted in mutual respect
- Set goals that stretch and challenge pupils of all backgrounds, abilities and dispositions
- Demonstrate consistently the positive attitudes, values and behaviour which are expected of pupils
- Be accountable for pupils’ attainment, progress and outcomes

The training you will be getting
Apprentices will undertake the level 6 teacher apprenticeship programme delivered by Staffordshire University.
Teaching will be a mix of on the job and off the job training delivered face to face in university and online sessions each week. The programme is delivered using a blended learning model.
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, apprentices will achieve their level 6 teacher apprenticeship and gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
- Fast-track on to the Painsley Leadership Pathway in one of the MAC schools on successful completion of the ECF
- Potential to progress onto leadership roles/promotions within 2 years of completing the apprenticeship within the Trust
- Opportunity for a full time role upon successful completion of the apprenticeship
