What you will do in your working day
Your duties will include:
- Learning and defining appropriate testing techniques to assure mission critical cyber capabilities
- Understanding of the management of test data and applying relevant security best practices
- Developing an understanding of the documentation of test cycles.
- Collaboration with established Software Development Teams
- Assisting in the running of diagnostic and system testing
- Assisting in the presentation of information to key stakeholders
- Contributing to effective team communication
- Building an understanding of identification methods for redundant functions and components
- Building knowledge of business applications and user requirements
- Learning and practicing Industry Standard ISTQB best practices and protocols
The training you will be getting
- Software Tester Level 4 (Higher national certificate) Apprenticeship Standard
- ISTQB Foundation, BCS Testing Tools. Training will be delivered in College and at Quanta and at the workplace
- Apprentices without level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking the End-Point Assessment
