What you will do in your working day

You will be providing the full range of treatments you learnt at level 2 including:

  • Manicures and Pedicures
  • Waxing
  • Facials
  • Eye and Lash Treatments
  • Basic Massage
  • Make Up

Plus you will be developing your skills in:

  • Advanced massage techniques
  • Facial Electrotherapy Treatments
  • Body Electrotherapy Treatments
  • Stone Therapy Massage
  • Indian Head Massage

You will also ensure that all reception areas and treatment rooms are kept clean, tidy and are well stocked.

The training you will be getting

  • Level 3 Advanced Beauty Therapist apprenticeship standard qualification, including Functional Skills in maths and English, if required.
  • This programme is delivered via a day release delivery model which means that one day per week, your attendance is required at our Derby Road campus, NG18. This attendance is required during term time only.
  • You will work with expert assessors to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours within the profession.
  • You will experience a blended learning model.
  • You will gather learning evidence, journals and off-the-job records using your e-portfolio.
  • At the end of the planned learning period, it will be agreed that you are ready to enter 'Gateway' and for your End Point Assessment to be arranged.

  • Upon successful completion of this apprenticeship, it is hoped their will be progression opportunities for you within the business.
