We are currently seeking a motivated practitioner to complete a Level 3 Apprenticeship at our Nursery. Our Apprentice will support children aged 2 and 3 and assist the team leaders in the day to day running of the setting. Whilst gaining hands on experiences in our setting, you will be working towards a recognised childcare qualification.

As an Apprentice you will be working in partnership with the setting to ensure:

  • The daily running of the room
  • Adhering to the policies and procedures of the setting and in compliance with the Children’s Act, Health and Safety Legislations and within the guidelines of Ofsted
  • You will help to encourage children in the early stages of their education to develop their independence, self-reliance, initiative and problem-solving skills
  • You will do this by working in a way that promotes inclusivity of all children by ensuring all have equal access to opportunities to learn, develop and reach their potential
  • You will learn on the job and benefit from having qualified practitioners to mentor you and support you through your qualification

  • Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship Standard
  • Relevant training will be provided through Lancaster and Morecambe College in order to complete the programme
  • Functional Skills may also have to be completed
