What you will do in your working day
APPRENTICE ELECTRICAL / MECHANICAL FITTER
Learning how to do;
- Mechanical and electrical fitting
- Wiring · Electrical testing
- Cleaning panels ready for test and inspection
- General assembly works
GENERIC DUTIES
- The employee will carryout any other tasks as necessary or as requested by managers
- The company operates a flexible working environment with a multi-skilled workforce
- The company requires the employee to continue development towards lean manufacturing
- The employee may be required to carryout deliveries and / or attend site works
- The employee may be required to assist with client witness testing
- The employee will assist others to maintain a clean and safe working area
- The employee may be required to operate a fork lift truck
- The company will ensure the employee receives appropriate training
- The employee is responsible to their team leader

The training you will be getting
Level 3 Engineering Fitter apprenticeship standard, including Functional Skills in English and maths if required.
