What you will do in your working day

  • Maintain excellent standards of personal, food and kitchen hygiene
  • Ensure compliance to procedures, menu specifications and recipes
  • Produce food meeting portion controls, and budgetary constraints
  • Adapting and produce dishes to meet special dietary, religious and allergenic requirements
  • Communicate internally and externally with customers and colleagues

The training you will be getting

  • As an apprentice you will attend City College Plymouth once a week
  • On successful completion of your apprenticeship, you will receive a Production Chef Level 2 Standard
  • Functional skills in maths and English if required

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • Planning to open 3-4 sites over the next few years so there will be opportunities to run their own kitchen
