Working week
Shift times and dates to be confirmed. The working pattern will be dependent on the pub but it will be a blend of day, evening and weekend shifts. Breaks are included with a 75% discount for team food.

What you will do in your working day
Daily duties:
- Preparing and cooking a high quality, well presented and appropriate food offer as per the menu
- To ensure excellent and enduring standards of both food hygiene/safety and personal
- Assisting with effective stock management including stock rotation and maintaining appropriate stock levels as directed by the Head Chef and Sous Chef
- To ensure that customer expectations are satisfied and where possible exceeded both in terms of food quality and speed of service
- To undertake such other duties and reasonable requests as required by the business or commensurate with the role, for example, manual handling
The training you will be getting
- Commis Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard
- 1 college day release a week
- Full on-the-job training and support from your team
- Monthly visits from your College Assessor
- Employment Rights and Responsibilities (ERR) workbook
- Functional skills in maths, English and ICT - if applicable and depending on your prior attainments

- Potential for internal progression, however, this is not guaranteed.
