What you will do in your working day

  • To support the managers, residents and staff in the home, in ensuring that a safe environment is maintained through relevant landscape maintenance and monitoring of health and safety standards
  • To ensure that an environment is created, with the help of the owner, maintenance manager and CQC manager that is of an acceptable and safe standard
  • To ensure that all relevant statutory responsibilities and duties are carried out, met and maintained. i.e. reporting to RIDDOR or HSE aspects that affect the running of the home
  • To be a role model to all staff

The training you will be getting

  • HORTICULTURE OR LANDSCAPE CONSTRUCTION OPERATIVE Level 2
  • All training will be done remotely once a month. 
  • Functional Skills in English and maths if required
