You will be working on site with a fully qualified and experienced gang of bricklayers learning all aspects of the trade. Carrying out a range of activities in Bricklaying as set by the Company and Weston College. You will be liaising with customers and contractors to ensure that services delivered have met expectations.

What you will do in your working day

Daily Duties:

  • Ensuring work areas have been left clean and tidy.

  • Cleaning, maintenance and storage of materials and equipment.

  • Attend College on a day release basis, and undertake additional training as requested.

  • Follow Health & Safety policies and procedures, including the wearing of personal protective equipment (PPE) where needed.

  • Use all tools, equipment and materials safely and in accordance with instructions and COSHH regulations.

  • Build and maintain good working relationships with colleague, customers and managers.

The training you will be getting

Bricklayer Level 2 Qualification.

  • Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths and English if not already obtained. 
  • One day a week required to attend Weston College. 
  • CSCS Card available through Weston College.

Good sense of humour, willingness to learn, genuine interest in Bricklaying, self-motivated and good communication skills. Own transport - preferable
