What you will do in your working day

As an Apprentice you will gain skills and knowledge in:-

  • Dimensional control of civil engineering projects
  • Assisting design teams with civil engineering solutions
  • Supervision of labour and sub-contractors
  • Contribute to the control of health and safety
  • Record, control and report the progress of a project
  • Contribute to the minimisation of the environmental impact
  • Control the quality of works

The training you will be getting

The successful candidate will work towards a Level 4 Civil Engineering Senior Technician Qualification, which will take place at Leeds College of Building.

Civil and environmental engineers are employed in a variety of industries, including construction, design, specialist consulting, scientific and technical services, transport and all levels of government.

Things to consider

This vacancy will be based in Doncaster, Sheffield, Huddersfield and Birkenshaw, so a driving license and access to a car would be highly advantageous.
