What you will do in your working day
The work will also involve:
- The use of band saws for cutting to length of structural
steelwork and steel lintels along with drilling, general fabrication
and yard duties such as collating customer orders from stock items,receiving goods, supporting customer collections and stock control.
The training you will be getting
General Welder Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard.
- Full on the job training and support from your team.
- Regular support from your College Assessor.
- Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths and English if not yet obtained.
