What you will do in your working day

Phase Electrical is a busy Electrical Wholesaler and we are looking for you to join our friendly team in the role of Trade Supplier Apprentice

 After full training your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing stock in and out (to external clients)
  • Picking and packing
  • Store transfers & stock control
  • Goods in / goods out
  • Trade counter sales and order - dealing with customers and suppliers
  • Taking payments and dealing with enquiries
  • Answering the phone to customers, suppliers and other branches
  • Sales office - basic admin, processing orders and customer calls

As an Apprentice, EDA Apprenticeships Plus will employ the successful candidate on behalf of the branch. If you are looking for a job and qualification that will provide you with a valuable foundation for your future and excellent career prospects, then this is the role for you.

The training you will be getting

Completing a Level 2 Trade Supplier apprenticeship standard, consisting of:

  • Knowledge and competence qualification in trade supplier at Level 2
  • Functional Skills in maths and English if required
  • End-Point Assessment (EPA) - final test and observation

The vocational and academic training aspects are separated and delivered by separate teams. The vocational training and assessment is conducted, more often than not, on site according to the employers wishes.

Notice of dates is agreed well in advance of a site visit. Training and assessment is conducted both on and off the job, according to the needs of the course and the learner. Every effort is made to ensure the best result is achieved by the learner.
