What you will do in your working day

  • Ensure that company Health & Safety, Food Safety and COSHH Legislations are adhered to: this will involve action and appropriate training. 
  • Attend monthly HOD and financial review meetings. 
  • Be fully conversant with facilities, services and promotions offered by the business.
  • Ensure all service standards are maintained throughout the catering operations. 
  • Coordinate and hold monthly team meetings.  Ensure minutes are taken and distributed to the team.
  • Actively consider prevention, recovery and investigation of any complaints. 
  • Undertake duty management shifts as and when required as per the rota. 
  • Maximise the sales of food and drink at all times. 
  • Attend Health & Safety meetings. 
  • Attend internal meetings where required.
  • Improve and implement new policies and procedures.

 

 

The training you will be getting

For the full apprenticeship, candidates will complete:  
Level 3 Hospitality Supervisor Apprenticeship Standard. 

Functional skills if required.
 
For the End Point Assessment (EPA) apprentices will undertake a knowledge test, business project, practical observation and a professional discussion. 
 
Apprentices are expected to attend college one day per week (term-time only) at the Ipswich Road campus, located near Norwich city centre. 

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

A position may be available for the right candidate following successful completion of the apprenticeship. The business is looking for somebody who wants to develop and gain a position following their apprenticeship.

Things to consider

Role will include working over holiday periods and unsociable hours. You must have your own transport as no public transport is available to the location. This role will be on your feet/standing for the duration of the shifts (minus breaks).
