Phoenix Steel is a well-established steel supplier who are now looking to recruit an apprentice to join the team. This could be the role for you if you want to learn while you earn! You will be loading and unloading of vehicles, operating machinery including overhead cranes and saws.

What you will do in your working day
- Operating a variety of cutting machinery, including band saws, guillotines and decoilers.
- To move material use of overhead cranes and fork trucks will be required (we will provide training)
- Receving information on on customer material requirements
- Processing materials according to our Quality Procedures.
- Manual Handling

- Quality checking all parts
- Abiding to all Health and Safety Standards
The training you will be getting
Your apprenticeship training will be a fully work-based learning programme across 12 months. Upon completion of your apprenticeship, you will achieve a level 2 qualification as a supply chain warehouse operative.

- Progression into a full time role upon completion of apprenticeship for the right candidate.
