What you will do in your working day
MCG Construction, part of The MCG Group, are specialist construction consultants; providing recruitment solutions and construction logistics to an amplitude of companies and projects in the UK.
Through structured training and extremely supportive managers and mentors your job role will be as follows:
- 100% new business development role to sell our Construction Logistics services offering to new and existing clients.
- Through training you will maintain a high and constant level of communication with potential clients.
- Profile, interpret and agree customer requirements.
- Build and develop our client base further.
- Add and maintain all client information and using our Sales Force CRM to track all new opportunities.
- Placing networking calls to senior clients to arrange presentations of the services we offer.
- Arrange meetings with key account clients, new and existing, with a view to increasing the number of tenders we receive to build our business and present Construction Logistic solutions to their businesses.
- Attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with construction trends.
- Eventually creating sales forecasts and actively working towards reaching them inline with our business plans.
This apprenticeship will allow you to possess a strong understanding of our Logistic services, the competition in the industry and positioning.
Nationwide travel may be required for site visits, business meetings and presentations.
The training you will be getting
- You will be undertaking the IT Technical Salesperson Level 3 qualification, this will be delivered to you by Mercuri International UK, Mercuri are Global Leaders is Sales and Leadership Training, and are a Business Improvement Consultancy.
- The duration of the programme is approximately 12 months in duration.
- The programme is delivered via interactive classroom days (face to face or virtually), learning activities then embed knowledge, skills and behaviours into the job role, alongside evidence activities to enhance learning and produce evidence for EPA.
- The programme and theory are designed to be relevant and appliable to your day-to-day role, it will challenge you and push you to achieve excellence.
