What you will do in your working day
Your main salon duties will include:
- Acting as an ambassador of the salon at all times
- Helping to prepare the salon to receive clients
- Gowning up and preparing clients prior to treatment
- Shampooing and applying conditioner treatments as well as removing colour.
- Blow drying hair and cutting hair under supervision when requested
- Assisting stylists in application of colour and highlights and prreparing equipment and materials for hairdressers use
- Re-filling stocks of frequently used materials and tidying up and maintaining the image of the salon
- Attending all scheduled training sessions
- Following instructions and learning each new subject
- Providing suitable training models when requested
The training you will be getting
- Training will be 1 day at wek at Nescot College in Ewell, Epsom.
- Upon Completion of the apprenticeship you will be awarded a City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Hairdressing
