What you will do in your working day
Would you consider yourself an outgoing, friendly and enthusiastic communicator how has a passion for a career within the IT industry? Do you enjoy working in a team dynamic and want a career within a well known, established company? You do not need to have a wealth of IT knowledge to apply, just a passion and drive to learn in a relaxed, customer focused enviroment.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Looking after tickets that are sent via e-mail
- Troubleshooting issues raised and getting further information to test issues and raise to our product and development teams
- Learning to use tools such as Happy Fox (Ticketing Application) Jira,Redash (reporting SQL) HTML,CSS, Javascript
- Joining Improvement meetings internally to discuss changes
- Creating articles for our knowledge base and checking existing ones are up to date
- Working with the team to gain web based troubleshooting skills and development
- Looking after the internal sales teams demo environments and looking after internal IT service requests
- Later as you become a genius in the ATS and gain a full understanding of the recruitment process you will get the chance to run some implementations these would cover
- Kick off meetings with the client and requirements gathering
Building, Testing and implementing the ATS to a client - Building a careers webpage using our career building tools
Integration methods to social media - Running the project phase from start to handover working alongside the tech team
The training you will be getting
The Level 3 IT Solutions Technician programme is designed to provide the knowledge and skills to develop, implement and maintain complete IT solutions, including their hardware infrastructure. IT Solutions Technicians apply a professional methodology or framework to gather and analyse the requirements in order to design, develop, test and implement the most appropriate IT solutions.

- BCS Level 3 IT Solutions Technician - Methodologies and Principles
- BCS Level 3 IT Solutions Technician - Core Technical IT Knowledge
- BCS Level 3 IT Solutions Technician - Security and Legislation
- Route specific:BCS Level 3 IT Solutions Technician - Hardware
Level 3 IT Solutions Technician qualification upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.
