What you will do in your working day

  • Design of Highways and Transportation Projects.
    • A range of Site Surveys.
    • Preparing reports and technical notes.
    • AutoCAD (Computer-Aided Design) software drawing production.
    • Data analysis and evaluation.
    • Professional development with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).

The training you will be getting

You will attend University to study a Civil Engineering degree apprenticeship and gain a Bachelors qualification, as well as completing your End Point Assessment (and your Incorporated Engineer status) with the Institution of Civil Engineers.

Internal development programme to help you to attain the knowledge, skills and behaviours to successfully achieve your apprenticeship, and support your career in Civil Engineering. You will have the support of your team, line manager, mentor and our apprenticeship community to succeed.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • Following on from succesfull achievement of the Degree Apprenticeship including IEng there will be opportuities to study for CEng for the right candidate
