You will be responsible for the admin and customer service for the company. The role will develop throughout the Apprenticeship, therefore you will be involved in more advanced duties.

What you will do in your working day
- Taking and processing telephone orders from customers
- Ensuring customer service queries are handled promptly and effectively to the ultimate satisfaction of the customer.
- Liasing with cross departmental colleagues on a variety of issues including order progress, stock availability, pricing, logistics and product specification.
- Utilising customer telephone contact as an opportunity to promote/sell specific products/offers as prescribed by the business.
- Supporting the external sales team with customer related growth opportunities/retention matters.
- Supporting credit control in the pursuit of overdue payments where appropriate.
The training you will be getting
Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Customer Service Specialist consisting of:
- Level 3 Standard in Customer Service Specialist
- Level 2 Functional Skills in Mathematics (if applicable)
- Level 2 Functional Skills in English (if applicable)
You will be required to attend a half-day session with HBTC where you will work towards any functional skills (where needed) that you have to take. There will also be an end point assessment.
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
After the Apprenticeship, there may be an opportunity for you to advance in the workplace or go on to higher education.
