What you will do in your working day

Working as part of the Digital Engineering Team you will assist in producing detailed solutions to achieve optimum performance of construction projects via digital models and presentations using software, sketches and visualisations.

The apprentice will support the Digital Engineers in completing complex tasks using digital engineering techniques, specifically:

  • Assist the Digital Engineer and Digital Engineering Manager in the BIM project coordination, 3D Modelling and deployment of digital engineering technologies
  • Assist the Digital Modeller in the 4D/Construction Sequencing tender support
  • Virtualisation and simulation of design, construction and management of assets
  • Digital measurement of design, production and management of assets
  • Communication of complex engineering principles to stakeholders digitally
  • Integration of construction data and information throughout the whole life cycle of the asset
  • Adherence to the standards and regulation of digital information

The training you will be getting

  • BTEC Level 3 Construction Built Environment
  • NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Built Environment Design
  • Functional Skills (if required)
