What you will do in your working day

  • Interpreting engineering drawings.
  • 3D modelling bridges and buildings.
  • Creating 2D drawings showing how parts will be fabricated.

The training you will be getting

  • Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Built Environment and Design
  • Level 3 National Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment
  • Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard - Digital Engineering Technician
  • The training will be delivered mainly in the workplace but apprentices will attend Wigan & Leigh College on a day release basis to complete classroom based qualifications.

About the employer

We are Double Check Digital Engineering Ltd. We are Structural Steel Draughtsmen primarily 3D Modelling Bridges and creating manufacturing documents. Our office is based in Leigh Town Centre. We like to focus on complex projects where most others in the industry would struggle.
