What you will do in your working day

  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems and data engineering solutions that optimise reporting efficiency and clarity
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data lakes
  • Interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
  • Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Filter and “clean” data by reviewing raw data, reports, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
  • Work with management to prioritise business and information needs
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

The training you will be getting

  • Data Analyst Level 4 Apprenticeship Standard 

Your training takes place away from your usual location of work and in one of NowSkills' city centre training venues. If this isn't convenient to you then NowSkills also provide live online, on-demand online and 1:1 with your subject specialist digital tutor that you will have assigned to you.

Upon successful completion, you will receive a certification of your Level 4 Data Analyst standard.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

After completion of the Level 4 Data Analyst apprenticeship the apprentice will have the opportunity to progress onto full-time data positions within the business should they prove to be the right candidate.
