What you will do in your working day

  • Provide an effective and efficient service to deliver day-to-day repairs, voids, cyclical maintenance. planned works programmes and any other associated works
  • Painting & decorating to reactive /responsive repairs & maintenance, voids, cyclical maintenance and planned works programmes
  • How to apply various oil/water-based paints to different surfaces including windows, doors, ceilings and walls.

The training you will be getting

  • Painting and Decorating Apprenticeship - level 2 standard
  • Full, on-the-job training will be provided by the employer, with 20% off-the-job training as a requirement
  • Functional Skills in English and maths if required

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Whilst we cannot guarantee a full time role following the completion of the apprenticeship a high number do go on to gain full time employement.
