What you will do in your working day

Our Apprentice Joiners will be helping support out responsive repairs, first & second fix joinery works on kitchen and bathrooms, vinyl floors, upvc doors, full installation of new kitchens providing you with a good knowledge of plumbing, kitchen instalations, window & door repairs.

The purpose of this job is to work as an Apprentice Carpenter/Joiner to develop knowledge and skills by assisting our fully qualified Joiners in carrying out day to day maintenance on a wide range of properties.

The training you will be getting

You will receive a Carpentry & Joinery - Architectural (Bench) Joinery Apprenticeship Level 2.

Functional Skills in English and maths if required.

The apprentice will work on site four days a week and will be sent on day release for college days. 

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Whilst we cannot guarantee a full time role after the completion of your apprenticeship many of our apprentices are offered a full time role with us.

Things to consider

The job role will involve traveling to multiple sites to carry out planned or reactive repairs within tenanted and void properties across West Yorkshire. You will work alongside a Connect member of staff.
