What you will do in your working day
- As part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for both reactive and preventative maintenance
- The role will involve basic joinery and plumbing as well as other renewal and repair works
- You will use a variety of tools and machinery to complete the tasks and will be trained in the use of these
- You will work both as part of a team as well as independently on task and will be required to follow strict Health and Safety routines
- The Building is an 1800s Mill Building and as such needs a lot of TLC. It will be part of your role to be on the look out for issues and to assist in the repair or renewal of the building and its contents
The training you will be getting
- You will obtain a Level 2 Property Maintenance Apprenticeship Standard qualification
- You will attend college 1 day a week at Hopwood Hall, Middleton Campus

- Successful candidates may be offered a full-time position after qualifying
