What you will do in your working day

* Gaining practical skills with a hands on approach to your learning by supporting the work of our skilled Joiners. 

* Working towards formal NVQ qualification via College Apprenticeship program one day per week.

* Attending essential training, such as H&S, to support you working in a construction focused environment.

* Building evidence of the range of work you are producing required for your qualification portfolio.

The training you will be getting

The successful candidate will be based on site (various locations) working alongside skilled site joiners 4 days per week gaining hands on experience and attend a local college 1 day per week to complete the apprenticeship programme to gain Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard in Carpentry & Joinery.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

At the end of your apprenticeship there is the possibility to progress onto Level 3 qualification or remain at Intermediate Craft Level 2.
