What you will do in your working day
The principal role is to provide admin & clerical support and involves inputting data and booking and recording activity carried out within out-patient patients during OT assessment and treatment sessions.
- Receive and make related telephone calls and take accurate messages, respecting patient and staff confidentiality.
- Provide general administration support to Occupational Therapy Dept.
- To provide filing, photocopying and scanning, laminating support to the team
- To support the Out-Patient Services Business Support Administrator ensuring the smooth running of reception, completion of required administrative and clerical tasks and out-patient activity collection
- Log mainenance & IT requests and follow up calls
- Assist with houskeeping duties within departments, ensuring security of the department and its property
- Comply with trusts policies and procedures.
- To open and sort incoming/outgoing mail for the medical secretaries and admin team
- Ensure that transactions are processed
- Dealing with corresponding invoices queries
The training you will be getting
Training through Nova normally comprises of five days per week in company with monthly monitoring visits at the workplace. Your dedicated coach will aslo be available between these visits for discussion about any additional support that may be required and to identify and resolve problems if they arise.
At the end of your training period, you will be put through to an end point assessment with an external verifier where you will showcase and evidence your knowledge, skills and behaviours.
