What you will do in your working day

As a building services engineering apprentice, you will work on local and national projects with a team of experts.

Your tasks could include:

·       Assisting in the development of designs and production of drawings through different phases of building services design, and support with mechanical and electrical calculations.

·       Work with project leads processing information for existing plans, producing data sheets, data collection and analysis.

·       Supporting with reports and information for our clients.

The training you will be getting

·       You will attend College to study a Building Services apprenticeship and gain a Level 4 qualification.

·       Bespoke internal development programme to help you to attain the knowledge, skills and behaviours to successfully achieve your apprenticeship, and support your career in Building Services.

·       You will have the support of your team, line manager, mentor and buddy as well as a dedicated early careers team.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

·       You will gain a Building Services apprenticeship with a Level 4 qualification.

·       As this is a permanent position, after gaining your level 4 qualification, WSP will continue to be committed to your learning and development throughout your career with us. You will have the opportunity to continue professional development and the opportunity to pursue your further study and training goals.
