What you will do in your working day

  • Assist in the coordination of end-to-end supply chain activities, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather and analyse data related to demand forecasting, supplier performance, and inventory levels.
  • Support the implementation and improvement of supply chain processes and systems to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Assist in monitoring and optimizing inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability while minimizing excess.
  • Participate in supplier relationship management activities, including supplier evaluation, negotiation, and performance tracking.
  • Contribute to the evaluation of transportation and logistics providers, optimizing transportation routes and minimizing lead times.

The training you will be getting

  • You will achieve a Level 3 apprenticeship qualification in Procurement and Supply Assistant standard.
  • Off the job training will be online.
