New opportunity to join our expanding team based in Leicester within a world leading metrology business. This role includes grinding components to tight tolerances, selecting grinding wheels & balancing wheels, inspecting components using Taylor Hobson instruments & using modern etchers and printers. Full on-site training provided.

What you will do in your working day
- Produce components / tooling using a range of manual machines safely and to the required quality and within reasonable time scales.
- Read drawings and measure components to the drawing tolerances using various measuring kit.
- Finish basic components on both surface & cylindrical grinding machines safely and to the required quality and within reasonable time scales.
- Grinding components to tight tolerances.
- Selecting grinding wheels and balancing wheels dependant on material.
- Inspecting components using Taylor Hobson Instruments and various other techniques.
- Using modern etchers and printers.
