The work is varied and includes general machining, product assembly & testing of our high precision metrology instrumentation. Full on-site training is provided.

What you will do in your working day

  • Assemble, test, and calibrate valuable products, at times working with small components and demanding deadlines
  • Develop product knowledge to support all areas of Assembly and/or Machine shop production when required
  • Develop skills in electrical and mechanical precision assembly with the ability to support internal customers, other departments and team members

Qualifications:

  • Level 3 Apprenticeships Standard in Engineering Fitter-

  • Level 3 Diploma (EAL) in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering

Delivery Method:

  • Apprentices attend Loughborough College one day per week (Term Time Only)
