What you will do in your working day
- Carry out routine/preventative maintenance e.g. servicing of Plant and equipment in accordance with manufacturers recommendations
- Work closely with Foreman, learning all jobs and reporting any problems or concerns
- Change wear parts on machinery, cutting edges etc.
- Assist Foreman with large repairs where manual handling is required
- Help identify problems and solutions e.g. find the problem and repair it
- Travel to site to attend breakdowns
- Maintain records relating to maintenance of equipment
