What you will do in your working day

  • Carry out routine/preventative maintenance e.g. servicing of Plant and equipment in accordance with manufacturers recommendations
  • Work closely with Foreman, learning all jobs and reporting any problems or concerns
  • Change wear parts on machinery, cutting edges etc.
  • Assist Foreman with large repairs where manual handling is required 
  • Help identify problems and solutions e.g. find the problem and repair it
  • Travel to site to attend breakdowns
  • Maintain records relating to maintenance of equipment
