What you will do in your working day

  • As a Trainee Claims Handler you will be joining a professionally qualified and supportive team, working towards completing your own qualifications and developing the technical and non-technical skills to manage your own portfolio of personal injury claims
  • Responsible for handling a number of claims from the initial customer contact through to the settlement of the claim, with values of up to £25,000
  • Understand the principles and practices of insurance through the completion of the CII Diploma
  • Develop a thorough understanding of Ageas Motor Insurance products and Motor Claims handling processes, by providing first class customer service and cost control for first- and third-party claims

The training you will be getting

You will work towards your:

  • Insurance Professional Level 4 Apprenticeship Standard
  • Diploma in Insurance (Dip CII)
  • Level 2 Functional Skills in English and maths (if required)

Apprenticeship training will be via Davies, virtually. 6 hours per week off the job training.

  • Upon completion of the apprenticeship there are a number of opportunities available should learners wish to progress. This may include other technical or leadership roles
