What you will do in your working day
- To provide direct administrative support and work closely with the mortgage processing team and brokers. This role has fantastic career progression
- Work closely with the established team to help customers purchase their dream home whilst taking care of all their mortgage and protection needs
- To provide hands on job-based training and study to enable you to become a competent and confident mortgage adviser
- Assist our established team, working with the clients’ best interests in mind, learning how to give appropriate advice and recommendations on the most suitable product for their needs.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answering and directing telephone calls
- Managing customers compliance documents
- Sending customer renewals
- Assisting all Brokers and Managers with admin tasks
- Calling and emailing solicitors for case updates
- Assisting with data entry on internal systems
- Liaise with Lenders, Insurance Companies, Solicitors and Clients ensuring all requirements are met and ensure all communications are logged on CRM
- Provide regular communication updates to MD, brokers and clients
- Raising fee invoices and issuing to customers

- Confident to deal with telephone queries in a professional and friendly manner

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Aptitude to work efficiently and enthusiastically alone or in a team
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook and Word is essential - These will be tested at interview stage

Professional Qualifications:
- Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP1,2,3) - awarded by The London Institute of Banking and Finance (LIBF)
- The apprentice is assigned a dedicated experienced mentor to guide them through the programme. Regular scheduled interactions with the apprentice ensure they are developing the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to become competent in the role
- To help prepare the apprentice for the CeMAP qualification, Apprentices are provided with Simply Academy’s CeMAP resource package, alongside a structured study plan supported by a series of live revision sessions with our CeMAP tutors
