What you will do in your working day

Key responsibilities will include:

  • To work with Plant Engineers to provide a general maintenance engineering service to manufacturing & support areas.
  • To work with Plant Engineers to provide planned and emergency maintenance support.
  • Breakdown resolution.
  • Fault finding.
  • Planned and preventative maintenance for site utilities.
  • To work with Plant Engineers to ensure that all engineering activities are carried out to the necessary standard complying with Safety, cGMP & company requirements.
  • To punctually attend college and successfully complete allocated courses.
  • To work with Module Technicians to gain experience within the value streams.
  • To successfully complete the apprenticeship and embedded qualifications.

The training you will be getting

Qualification

  • Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard in Engineering Technician (Mechatronics Maintenance Technician Pathway)
  • Level 2 EAL Foundation Competence
  • Level 3 EAL Advanced Manufacturing Engineeering

Delivery Method

Apprentices will attend Loughborough College two days per week in the first and second year of learning and then once a week after this (Term time only)
