What you will do in your working day
Job Description:
- 1st Line Telephone & Remote Access Support to CTS Group clients
- Solving user problems /answering calls and logging tickets
- New user & application setups (Laptops and PC's)
- Day-to-day user/systems support (printer installs, etc.)
- Providing in-house technical support to CTS Office employees
- Workstation troubleshooting
- Training & answering queries (re: MS Office-based apps.)
- Escalation of client requests (systems development & sales) to consultants/account managers.
- Occasional on-site support / delivery of goods & services to clients, site auditing & fact-finding visits
The training you will be getting
Duration:
- 13 months practical training period, plus 3 months for End Point Assessment
Delivery model:
- Work-based training with your employer
- Day release during term time (approximately 1 day a week for 1 year)
- Approximately four on-site assessment visits per year
- Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths and English (7 days at college for each, if required)
- Off the job training will count for at least 6 hours a week of an apprentice’s time at work
Qualifications included:
- Level 2 Functional Skills in English and Maths
- Level 3 Information Communications Technician Apprenticeship
End Point Assessment:
- Work based project and presentation
- Portfolio based interview
