What you will do in your working day
- Assist in the assessment of learners' skills, knowledge, and competence in accordance with relevant standards and assessment criteria.
- Support the planning and implementation of assessment activities, including the development of assessment plans, tools, and materials.
- Collaborate with trainers, teachers, and other assessors to ensure the effective delivery of assessment processes and procedures.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to learners to support their learning and development journey.
- Maintain accurate records of assessment outcomes and progress reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards.
- Participate in training and development activities to enhance your knowledge and understanding of assessment methodologies, standards, and practices.
The training you will be getting
- Assessment Principles and Practices: You will receive training on the principles and practices of assessment, including understanding assessment criteria, developing assessment plans, and conducting assessment activities. This training will provide you with a solid foundation for your role as an assessor.
- Assessment Methods and Tools: You will undergo training in various assessment methods and tools, including observation, questioning, professional discussions, and evidence collection. You will learn how to select and use appropriate assessment methods to assess learners' skills, knowledge, and competence effectively.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance: You will learn about quality assurance processes and procedures related to assessment, including internal quality assurance (IQA) and external quality assurance (EQA). This training will ensure that you understand the importance of maintaining assessment integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Communication and Feedback Skills: You will receive training in communication and feedback skills to effectively engage with learners and provide constructive feedback on their performance.
